Packing List

We are all excited to come to camp and we don’t want to forget any of the things that we need at camp, so here is the Bring to Camp and Leave at Home lists.

Bring to Camp Covenant Point

  • Water Bottle
  • Flashlight and batteries
  • Bible
  • Clothing for the season, including light jacket/sweatshirt (nights can get chilly)
  • Closed toe/tennis/hiking shoes (flip flops are not good shoes for camp)
  • An extra pair of old shoes or river shoes for the lake or water games
  • Swimsuit (no bikinis, thongs or speedos) and towel
  • Rain gear (jacket or small umbrella)
  • Sleeping bag or sheets (twin) and blanket
  • Pillow
  • Towel
  • Personal hygiene items (no aerosols)
  • Alarm clock
  • Watch
  • Complete Health Form including Health Insurance Card (if you didn’t already send it or attach it)
  • All necessary medication (including non-prescription).  This must be kept by the camp nurse or director unless for emergency use, such as an asthma inhalator.
  • Insect Repellant (pump or lotion if possible)
  • Sunscreen
  • Bring a few items to support our Mission Projects (each year we serve people locally and globaly, click this link to find out more and see the list)

OPTIONAL ITEMS

  • Stationery and stamps
  • Downtime materials (books, magazines, etc.)
  • Camera

Leave at Home

If you bring these items we will keep them safe for you while you are at camp and you will get them back when you leave Covenant Point
  • Food or snacks – you’ll be well-fed, including afternoon and evening snacks
  • Anything expensive or valuable
  • Electronic devices (cell phones, radios, video games, ipods, ipads, tablets, MP3 players, DVD players, TVs, laser pointers or anything that plugs in)
  • Money – there is no soda machine or camp store with items for sale
  • Fireworks
  • Weapons (including guns and knives)
  • Drugs or alcohol
  • Tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, etc.)
  • Pets
