What are Tiers?
In 2014 we introduced an honor system that reworked our camp fee structure. Tiered pricing like ours has been very successful at other camps around the nation and we saw similar success with it and are excited to offer it again this year.
Donations and One Mission Giving through the presbytery churches that support Covenant Point have always offset the costs of Summer Camp. Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, you many choose the Tier that is most suitable for your family.
No matter what they pay, all campers receive the same experience . Additional financial assistance is still available to ensure that all children have the opportunity to attend camp.
Tier I: historically subsidized rate and does not reflect the true cost of operating summer camp
Tier II: partially subsidized fee for those willing to pay a little more but still can not afford the actual cost.
Tier III: more closely accounts for the true costs of camp, including all staff, wear & tear of facilities & grounds.
Tiered pricing strives to provide the highest quality programs possible; to serve all income levels; and to preserve camp for generations to come.
It offers the opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child’s camp.
